We’re only one week into 2007.. but I just bursting with excitement about what God is doing!! I’ve been having meetings all week. We are busy planning for the next few months.. there’s so much to do! Here’s some quick updates of what we can look forward to doing! …. 

  

Starting on Monday I will be throwing myself into a youth project we started last year.. gospel festivals for youth in surrounding villages. We are working to make it better than ever..Our first festival is planned for March 6^th and 7^th in a village called Tiga Panah. I have done a lot of work in this village in the past few years. But we plan on this being the biggest event ever done there! It is only 7 weeks away!! Only 7 weeks to organize everything, practice all of the dramas and dances, build props and make costumes, make a band and learn all the music, advertise, etc! We hope after this village we will have a creative and exciting program for youth that we can bring to many other villages!!

In the last few weeks I’ve been thinking a lot about the province above me, Aceh. Aceh is a very unique province because it’s the only province that is under Muslim Law. Which means we are not allowed to openly preach the gospel. It is almost all completely Muslim. But I’m sure you remember two years ago it was hit very hard by the Tsunami. Since doing some work there after the Tsunami I have not returned to Aceh. But hopefully at the end of this month I will be able to help a new ministry starting there that will be reaching children from the rebel war area. Also if possible we want to bring some relief help to many families whose homes have been destroyed by some recent floods near the border of Aceh.

  

Some Prayer Requests: 

  

For the upcoming Youth Village Festivals. 1^st one planned is in Tiga Panah on March 6^th and 7^th.

  

For work in Aceh. Reaching children in rebel war areas hopefully Jan 29-31^st. Also if possible relief work in flooded areas possibly in early Febuary.

  

In the 1^st week of February I will need to go to Malaysia to get a new visa. I would love this to be done quickly and without problems so I can come back to Indonesia within a few days.

  

I really want to reach many more prostitutes in Bandar Baru. Starting January 20^th there will be a new focus on that!

  

Starting this Monday, January 15^th there will be a new ‘Harvest Worker’s’ meeting starting in my home. With the purpose of not just training young people as leaders but to actually have them begin new ministries and plan outreaches using their own ideas and visions!

  

Some of our Muslim neighborhood has recently become even more open with us stopping us to ask us questions about the Bible! Please pray for more opportunities for us to share with them and that we will be bold to share the gospel like we should be!
