Hi there!!
Enjoying the last few weeks of warm weather?
Today I came down to the city of Medan. Usually I am sweating my head off here.. but today I was cold.. I was even wearing a sweatshirt and chilly.. then I saw the temperature and i realized why… it is a really cold day here.. it’s only 26 degrees Celsius! (i’m not kidding)
I really want to ask for your prayers and support.. I feel like there are so many decisions to be made in this next week. I’ll just give you the top 3:
1. Our Youth Center. I have found the perfect spot. A three story place right on main street. And at almost ½ the price it would normally be. However, that’s still about $50,000.. which I don’t have. I really need wisdom in making this decision! And.. let’s thank God He is a BIG God who does BIG things!!
2. Bible College. There are so many decisions I need to make this week. Like to who hire, etc.
3. Our Youth Outreach. We are planning lots ofevents.. first of there is an event in our city on August 31. Right on the street downtown! We want our young generation to meet Jesus!

Isn’t God just so amazing?!
Things here have been going great. It’s great to be back and to see those I haven’t seen in so long. The first time I went back to see the women in the prison they were running up and hugging me.. so happy to see me again. And then they told me all the good news of all the prayers God has been answering in their lives. To see them continue to grow in God is amazing! Two of them get out this week… they already have plans to visit me when they are free!

Oh… and a little funny story for you…
Some friends had taken me out to eat one night.. and the power was out (as usual) so we were eating in dim candlelight. As I drank the last of my tea I felt something in my mouth. Of course, first reaction was just to swallow.. but I decided not to, but instead in take it out.. I didn’t need bright lights.. Once I touched it I could feel that it was a big bug that had drowned in my tea.. ohhh….. I stopped eating and drinking then. Sudden loss of appetite. Haha. J
