We are making history! 2/16/09
I just returned from Namorambe.. the place for our big youth event!
We started off the publicity by putting up the 5 biggest billboards the city has ever seen. Now we will continue with thousands of flyers, radio ads, newspaper, and much more!
The local people are so excited! Are working hard as we expect 1,000’s of youth to attend the event! The keep saying this event is MAKING HISTORY!! Never before has there been an event like this there!
The event is in less than two weeks and we have only half the needed funds. God always provides. But I ask for your help in prayers.. that we would stand strong in Him and continue on in faith.
In Other news: This month I have been teaching full time in the Bible College.. wow! It’s been amazing!!
I am teaching the ‘Book of Acts’. And sometimes I feel like I am jumping up and down because I get so excited! Actually… i think i do jump up and down! Haha. It is such a joy to show them that they are still living in the book of acts today.. they are writing the next chapters.. they are just like the apostles. Ordinary people.. who have an extra ordinary Jesus!! And because of that will do extra ordinary things!!
Although I have been pouring myself into the Bible college every day God has blessed me with many wonderful opportunities. Times to pour into people’s lives one by one. I have had so many nights this past month where I came home and realized that God had just used me to turn a whole life around! It’s an amazing feeling.
And one morning I went back to the prison after not being able to go for a while. I was shocked. Almost all the women I had ministered to had all been set free because of good behaviour! That’s what the transforming power of Jesus can do!
There was a new girl in the prison. She is only 18 years old. She told me about everything that happened… how her whole life was so filled with pain that she was doing the drugs because they could help her forget it all.. now she wound up in jail and in her loneliness she cries herself to sleep every night. I shared God’s love with her. And after she had prayed with me and received Jesus into her life I told her she never had to fear again. Because anytime she felt alone she could remember that very date and time and know from then on she would never be alone again. She broke into a smile and her eyes began to water.. It was exactly what she needed to hear. It was the answer to her life. A saviour, friend, and comforter to be there every moment of every day.
Below are pictures from this last month of more things that i didn’t want to take the time to write about!
Thanks!!

First 5 pictures are from an event I was invited to about 5 hours away. It was a wonderful youth event that was also broadcasted live on radio!
