Another dream has become a reality!
2 Wednesdays ago we officially started off our Youth Radio show!
It’s incredibly exciting to be able to use media to reach even more!
We will be on air with a live, interactive show every Wednesday from 8-9pm! So far we have gotten a great response, even from those of other religions!
It is really exciting to consider the possibilities of what we can do with this!
And… another dream is even closer to becoming a reality.
We have purchased a piece of land and are ready to start building our youth home. For years we have been renting and moving from place to place. But now.. the beginning of our dream of opening an orphanage and home for youth is becoming even closer!
There are so many other visions God has given us.. and we are getting ready to take those steps in 2011.
Not because of us, but all because of Him who lives in us!
Please keep all of this in your prayers for us! Thank you so much!!
Amazed by Him,
susan joy

Recent News: November 23, 2010
I have wanted to go back to visiting villages and doing Healing Outreaches to preach the gospel there. So last week we chose a village, it was very small so we weren’t expecting a big crowd. Especially as we drove there the first night we were hit with a torrential downpour. We arrived in the village with no lights, no one in sight and pouring rain. But praise God! By the time we started everything was up and running, the rain stopped and a crowd gathered. (pic below)The second night it did not rain at all and over 100 people gathered to hear the good news. (which was maybe the population of the village! Haha)
The people in this village were sooooo happy to hear the good news. When I told them God is smiling down on you right now their faces broke out into smiles too! The simple gospel of what Jesus has done is so powerful and freeing! And after we prayed for the sick many came up to testify of how God had healed them. One of the grandmas shared she had been healed and then begged us not to leave their village(pic below) they really wanted us to stay. Our last healing testimony of the event was a Muslim lady who had come because she was sick. (pic below) She was so happy to hear that God would help and heal all people!
Update from old News:
Do you remember the youth event we did in Sleman, Jawa a few months ago? We had some real issues there with some major opposition. After my follow up visit things were peaceful again. However, I left with a real desire that the local pastor could continue to work together with the Muslim Youth group there, although at the time that seemed impossible.
That area has been hit by the Merapi Volcano (I’m sure you have seen on the news). I saw some pictures in the newspaper and contacted the pastor to see how he was and if everyone was ok. Not only was the good news that he and everyone else was safe, but that he had just met with the leader of the Muslim Youth and they were working together to reach out and show love to the refugees! I immediately sent some funds to help their work!
It is a wonderful thing to bring good news and see something happening right there.. their faces showing what is taking place in their hearts the moment you share the good news. But also.. it is so wonderful to hear reports of how those events continue to have impacts even months after…
Please continue to pray for all those affected by Mt. Merapi and all the other natural disasters that Indonesia has experienced recently.
I will keep this update short for now… because I plan to share some more exciting news with you next week!
In His ever increasing joy,
Susan Joy
Pics below:

It’s been over a month since my last email… I haven’t been writing not because there is nothing to write about, but because there is too much to write about! I just can’t believe how fast a month can fly by..
When I came back from Canada I did a 9 day tour around Sumatra with some of my students… we had an awesome time! In each city we found groups of young people who were really called by God to rise up for their nation! It was a really powerful time.
And now.. some of those young people have joined us as students at the Bible College! Not only do the students grow each year, but so does the excitement!
We are only one week into the lessons and already the students are sharing testimonies of how much they have been changed!
I am loving to have a 2nd year class as well.. it brings a whole new level into the school!
Last week we were celebrating some birthdays.. and one of the 2nd year students shared a testimony and said. “I am so thankful for this school because I have found God’s calling on my life.”.. and added.. “I want to be like William Carey.” I actually remembered while he was on the tour 2 months ago he had taken the opportunity to share with some people from other religions about Jesus and how excited he had been after.. “I’m going to share Jesus to the WORLD!!!” he’d exclaimed.
I couldn’t be happier than to see a new generation of missionaries rising up to share Jesus to their nation!
I have been teaching the course “Revivalists and Reformers” to the 2nd year class… and each and every day I see more and more that one day someone else will be reading the story of their lives and how God used them in amazing ways!
Now that the school is up and running with 1st and 2nd year classes (and starting next week night classes as well) I will continue to reach out in other areas of ministry as well.. please pray for God to open the doors for us in Radio, prisons, and villages and cities for Open Air Outreaches.
George Whitefield said that the more we do for God the more we find we can do for God.. how true! I feel like my eyes are open more and more each day to even greater things that we can do to reach the lost and raise up workers for the great harvest!
I have been able to be here for 7 years because of all the faithful partners behind me in prayers and support… we have another amazing year ahead of us!
There is more to do than ever before.. and your support makes it possible!
Thank you!!!
All for Jesus,
Susan Joy
